Hello, Readers,
This year, we are overjoyed to release Twitter Street by Obiageli A. Iloakasia today.
The book; Twitter Street, is a perceptive collection of satirical stories that parodies the many happenings of the #EndSARS issue and other relevant issues which project the effects of social media interactions.

Synopsis
Twitter Street carries us on a long journey of never-ending stories filled with laughter, shade, pain, loss, confusion, betrayal and the likes.
The story starts with a new resident telling stories of the different happenings in and outside the street. As the book unfolds, the persona makes it clear to readers that life is not a bed of roses after all. Amidst the tensions in the some chapters, hilarity takes an edge over grief.
In seven chapters, the persona in this expository comic tell stories, story after story of the trending and laughable events on Twitter Street NG. While it appears to be ‘just for the laughs’ , the persona also exposes readers to deep memories of grief and loss experienced on the street.
With no resolution to maintain a happy ending due to life’s uncertainties, Twitter Street maintains a sense of wonder on how people unite, divide and still get locked up in a cage where trends and hashtags seem to be the only hope for true recognition/connection.

I find this news of “Twitter Street”
comic book an amazing milestone on the literary journey of a promising young lady & friend – Obiageli Iloakasia. For me it shows her brain power positive use of the COVID-19 lockdown periods, while many others remained docile & wondering what to do with time. CONGRATULATIONS Oby.
